Positive:
Friendliness and professionalism of the staff. Its position in the centre of Naples. The personality and history of the hotel itself.
Positive:
Great location for opera and visiting the cultural sights. Staff extremely friendly and knowledgble. Alitalia cancelled our flight and the staff were very helpful in negotiating the best plan b for us to pursue and be able to make the next two connecting flights we needed to make to arrive at our final destination. A very cozy atmosphere with the charm of yesteryear/century. Terrific place to unwind at the end of the day with a bottle of wine and friends.
Positive:
Small, quiet, friendly and comfortable place to stay. Lovely fresh breakfasts and afternoon tea was available. Good location for visiting castles, museums, historic center and lots of lovely shops. Information and recommendations are readily available. We will be returning in the future and recommend to friends.
Positive:
Superb location near Napoli city centre and the San Carlo opera. A charming hotel which offers, I think, a true sense of Napoli. My first visit in Napoli and will for shure return to Napoli and this hotel!
Positive:
Fantastic location in the center of Napoli, close to monuments, shopping and entertainment. Great if you want a feel for what it might be like to live in Napoli without a lot of noise. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Positive:
Location and helpful staff.
Negative:
Room quite small even though we were told we,d been upgraded ! Breakfast was nt all that great.
Positive:
We liked the situation, right in the city, in the pedestrian area, and near to the san carlo opera house, where we wanted to attend a concert. Being near meant that we could walk there at night without too much worry. We enjoyed the courtesy and kindness of the staff, and the intimacy of the atmosphere – the tea in the afternoon, and the generous way our host included us in his birthday party!
Negative:
This is not a complaint, but a wish that the staff had perhaps been able to warn my husband very strenuously against the dangers of crime. We took a bus, and he was robbed, as you may remember. We think it was a gang, for there were several people around us, and I was molested by a man at the same time as my husband’s pocket was being picked. Being “northerners” we are taller than most neapolitans, and I think this gives men a false sense of security – certainly in my husband’s case, he seemed to think that he was invulnerable. I realise that a hotel might not like to give a ngeative picture of the city, but it could offer more protection to guests, to give them some stern warnings!
Positive:
The room was comfortable and the hotel is in a convenient location.
Negative:
Noisy from continual pedestrian traffic even early in the morning and late at night.
Positive:
The staffs were just wonderful, so helpful and kind. The room was clean and confortable but we couldn’t controll the airconditioning. The room temperature was too cold. Breakfast was so good. They served fresh fruit juice and bread fresh from oven every morning. Location is great to visit any major sightseeing spots. I’d sincerely like to say thanks to all the staffs in the hotel. Domo arigato!!
Positive:
Historic building located in the center of a safe shopping area. Within walking distance of the boats to capri. (I don’t recommend Capri unless you like wall to wall rich people shopping at super expensive stores) The blue Grotto is a rip off.
Negative:
A little difficult to locate but not bad.
Positive:
Location, location, location! Fantastic – right in the heart of Naples dining, shopping, cultural. Staff gave good recommendations for dinner, very helpful.
Negative:
Inadequate light in room for reading etc. would make this unsuitable for a business traveller. Bathroom configuration meant floor was awash every time one had a shower. Over time this had obviously resulted in the door swelling and thus jamming halfway.
Positive:
